Jonathan Ross Talk Show Heads to BBC Worldwide Channels

LONDON: BBC Worldwide Channels has acquired the chat show Friday Night with Jonathan Ross for its networks such as BBC America.

Featuring a mix of comedy, celebrity chat and music, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross will air from June on BBC America, BBC Canada, UKTV in New Zealand and the BBC Entertainment feeds across Latin America, Scandinavia and Africa. In the U.S., the show premieres on BBC America on June 12 with episode 18 of the current U.K. series. The remaining territories will air the series under the name The Jonathan Ross Show beginning with BBC Canada on June 19. New Zealand’s UKTV channel will debut the show on July 17, followed by Latin America’s BBC Entertainment feed on July 30 and the Scandinavia and Africa feeds of BBC Entertainment add the show to their schedules from July 31.
