Jessica Lange to Present International Emmy Founders Award to Ryan Murphy

NEW YORK: The screen legend Jessica Lange, star of American Horror Story, is set to take the stage at this year’s International Emmy Awards Gala to present Ryan Murphy with the 2012 International Emmy Founders Award.

Murphy is the creator of American Horror Story, as well as Glee, among other credits. Lange is a two time Academy Award winner and a two time Emmy winner. She will present Murphy with the award at the 40th International Emmy Awards on Monday, November 19, at the Hilton New York.

Murphy himself will present the 40th Anniversary Special Founders Award to Norman Lear (All in the Family) and Alan Alda (M*A*S*H*). Musician and producer J.Y. Park will present the 2012 International Emmy Directorate Award to Dr. Kim In-Kyu, the president and CEO of Korean Broadcasting Season.

The event will be hosted by Regis Philbin. Also set to present that night are Victor Garber (Deception, Argo), Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods), Bridget Moynahan (Blue Bloods), Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl), Matthew Settle (Gossip Girl), Rachel Taylor (666 Park Avenue), Pat Mitchell (of The Paley Center), Cheyenne Jackson (The Performers), telenovela actress Edith González, Griffin Dunne (House of Cards), the German TV personalities Joko and Klaas, the Brazilian actor Marcello Serrado and the Indian actress Prerna Wanvari.
