LOS ANGELES/NEW YORK: Debmar-Mercury and ITV Studios America are bringing back The Jeremy Kyle Show for the 2012-13 season, with the syndicated talk show cleared in more than 50 percent of the U.S.

Renewals for the FOX and Sinclair stations bring the show back for a second run. The syndicated talk show features Kyle, who has been hosting a show of the same name in the U.K. for six years, confronting people who are facing challenges such as dysfunctional relationships, addictions and family crises. The Jeremy Kyle Show is distributed internationally by ITV Studios Global Entertainment.

Marcus and Bernstein, co-presidents of Debmar-Mercury, commented, “The renewals by these great station partners are a testament to Jeremy’s staying power and ability to build a long-term franchise. He is a highly compelling host who has brought a fresh, common sense approach to American television. It is easy to see why Jeremy is such an icon and owns daytime television in the U.K.”

“Jeremy is one of the U.K.’s top talents and we couldn’t be more delighted to be going into a second season,” added Paul Buccieri, ITV Studios America’s president and CEO and the managing director of ITV Studios International. “We believe the show’s audience will continue to grow as a result of the support from everyone within the U.S. and ITV in the U.K.”
