Jennifer Saunders Returns to BBC America

PASADENA, January 11: BBC
America’s new co-production Clatterford, marking Jennifer Saunders’ return to the channel, was presented at
the Television Critics Association press tour yesterday.

Saunders stars in and
wrote Clatterford, a comedy
about a small town women’s club. The series premieres on Friday, March 9 at 9
p.m., ET and 10 p.m., PT and also stars Joanna Lumley, who teams up with
Saunders for the first time since their hit Absolutely Fabulous.

Clatterford is one of two brand-new BBC America comedy
co-productions written by and starring Saunders. The second, The Life and
Times of Vivienne Vyle
, is
Saunders' take on daytime chat shows and will premiere later in 2007.
