Jason Priestley to Host International Digital Emmys

PARIS/NEW YORK: Jason Priestley, who is starring in the new E1 original comedy Call Me Fitz, has signed on to host the International Digital Emmy Awards on April 12 at MIPTV, where he will be joined on stage by a number of celebrity presenters. 

British film and television actor Charles Dance, whose work includes The Jewel in the Crown and Bleak House, will present during the awards. As will Cesar Millan of The Dog Whisperer and Canadian actors Missy Peregrym (Dark Angel, Black Sash, Life as We Know It) and Gregory Smith (The Patriot, My Name is Evil). Also, Heroes creator and executive producer Tim Kring will receive The International Academy’s Pioneer Prize for his contribution to the fields of digital television and cross-platform entertainment with Heroes Evolutions.
