Jason Klarman Named President at Oxygen Media

NEW YORK: Jason Klarman has been upped to president of Oxygen Media, effective immediately.

Klarman has been general manager of Oxygen Media since January 2008. With his new promotion, Klarman adds oversight for Oxygen’s original programming and development teams to his remit.

In his first year at Oxygen, Klarman completed a total rebrand for the network, introducing the "Live Out Loud" tagline. Under his watch, Oxygen Media has experienced double- and triple-digital growth across every platform.

He will continue to report to Lauren Zalaznick, the president of NBC Universal Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks. "Jason has an unparalleled gift for identifying a brand’s essence and driving a business from that vantage point," said Zalaznick. "His ability to deliver a message that cuts through the clutter along with keen business acumen has driven the incredible double-digit growth at Oxygen these past two and a half years. His unlimited creativity will continue to drive the outsized success that Oxygen has enjoyed under his command."
