Janson Scores Russian Pickup for National Parks Doc

HARRINGTON PARK: Janson Media has sold the documentary special Timeless: A National Parks Odyssey to First HDTV of Russia for its Travel HD channel.

The hour-long program looks at national parks across the U.S. and Canada. The film contains footage from 18 different parks, including Arches, Banff, Death Valley, Grand Teton, Joshua Tree, Yellowstone, Yosemite and the Grand Canyon. It uses a mix of aerial, still and time-lapse photography, done by cinematographer David Fortney.
