ITV Worldwide Prepares Programming for BCWW

HONG KONG, August 12: ITV
Worldwide will bring a raft of new programming to BCWW in Korea next month,
ranging from formats to dramas to documentaries.

ITV Worldwide will offer
three new formats, including The Colour of Money. In this game show, ten contestants face 20
different colored cash machines, each with an unknown amount of money. Players
choose to withdraw money from ten of them, telling the machines to stop before
it runs out of cash. If contestants wait and the cash runs out then they lose
everything. Who Dares Sings,
originally commissioned by ITV1, challenges a studio audience to hit the right
notes during this karaoke competition. The Chopping Block, originally commissioned for Nine Network
Australia and produced by Granada America, features two underperforming
restaurants as they are revamped and pitted against each other to impress a
food critic or chef to win a cash prize.

The drama Bonekickers centers on a team of archaeologists led by Dr.
Gillian Magwilde, played by Julie Graham (William and Mary), who is obsessed with finding the greatest relic
in history. In Celebrity Fit Club USA, eight celebrities divided into two teams work to shed the most
unwanted weight during 14 weeks of challenges.

Children’s series
available at BCWW will include The Pinky & Perky Show, a new CGI series for 6- to 11-year-olds about a
pair of piglets, Pinky and Perky, who have just been given their own live TV show.

The six-part documentary Warship follows the personal stories of sailors aboard the
HMS Illustrious during a four-month deployment. One of only two aircraft
carriers in the British Naval fleet, the ship has a crew of 1,000 as well as
its own mayor, police force and fire service. Tour of Duty features British and American troops in Iraq and
Afghanistan telling their stories and explaining battlefield tactics. The
wildlife series Zoo Days goes
behind the scenes at two of Britain’s largest zoos, Chester and Colchester
Zoos. The 3-D computer-generated animated comedy Headcases satirizes celebrities and political figures.
