ITV Global Sells Package to APT

LONDON: ITV Global Entertainment has signed a deal for 50 hours of British and Canadian drama with American Public Television (APT).

The package includes Murdoch Mysteries, produced by Shaftesbury Productions, as well as the eighth season of the medical drama The Royal and second season of murder-mystery Agatha Christie’s Poirot, starring David Suchet. Further titles include the crime drama Rosemary and Thyme, starring Pam Ferris (Harry Potter And The Prisoner of Azkaban) and Felicity Kendal (The Camomile Lawn).

John Norman, the senior VP for Americas at ITV Global Entertainment in L.A., said, “APT has acquired more than 50 hours of hugely popular and critically acclaimed British and Canadian drama, which will be broadcast to a potential public television audience of more than 65 million U.S. viewers.”
