iTunes to Offer Lionsgate Movies

SANTA MONICA/CUPERTINO,
February 12: More than 150 movies from Lionsgate will now be available for
purchase and download through Apple’s iTunes Store starting from today,
including blockbuster films such as The Blair Witch Project, Dirty Dancing,
Terminator 2
and Basic Instinct.

In the coming weeks, iTunes
users will also be able to download legendary action adventures films and
thrillers from Lionsgate such as Total Recall and Rambo, indie
classics such as Monster's Ball
as well as Chaplin and The
Boys From Brazil
. With the addition of
Lionsgate films, the iTunes store has expanded its current catalog of movies to
over 400 titles. Mostly priced at $9.99 each, movies purchased and downloaded
from the iTunes Store can be viewed on a computer, Apple TV or fifth generation
iPod.
