Israeli Slot for Portfolio’s Cat in the Hat

TORONTO: Portfolio Entertainment has secured a deal in Israel for The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!, which recently debuted on Canada’s Treehouse.

The show, based on the classic Dr. Seuss stories, is to air on HOP! in Israel. The series recent debut in Canada was the number one with kids 2 to 11 and kids 2 to 5.

“HOP!’s slogan is that our young audience ‘should grow up in good hands’ with programming that is both educational and motivating. The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! is a wonderful addition to our promise of programming of the highest of standards for both children and their parents,” said Alona Abt, CEO of HOP! channel.

“We are thrilled that The Cat In The Hat Knows A Lot About That! will be carried by HOP!, a progressive channel completely dedicated to educating, entertaining and enriching the lives of the youngest viewers in Israel,” added Joy Rosen, co-president of Portfolio Entertainment.
