International Deals on IFC Programming

CANNES, October 11: On behalf of Rainbow Media Holdings, iD
Distribution has shored up international deals on more than 115 hours of
original content from the Independent Film Channel (IFC).

"We had just added IFC to the unique mix of Rainbow
content being represented by iD Distribution at MIPCOM, and we are certainly
pleased with these immediate results," said Glenn Oakley, Rainbow Media’s
SVP of business development. “We look forward to the continued international
success of IFC’s original lineup of edgy and engaging programming.”

ITV4 has licensed 35 hours from the IFC catalogue, including
Greg the Bunny, Greg the
Bunny: The Reunion Special
, Dinner
for Five
, Hopeless Pictures and The Minor Accomplishments of Jackie
Woodman
. And Sveriges Television (SVT) has licensed season one of The
Henry Rollins Show
.

Middle Eastern broadcaster MBC has licensed IFC's Film
School
, a 10×30-minute show. In New
Zealand, Rialto Channel also took Film School, along with Hopeless Pictures. And South Africa’s M-NET opted for Dinner
for Five
for its MNET Movies channel.
