iD Takes on Oxygen Programming

LONDON, October 3: At MIPCOM, iD Distribution will launch a
slate of programming from Oxygen, after inking a two-year representation deal
with the female-targeted American cable network.

iD is offering up three romantic-comedy TV movies: Nadine
in Dateland, Romancing
the Bride and Tempting
Adam. Also on offer
will be the 6×30-minute crime and investigation series Relentless. On the reality end there is the
one-hour special Preston Bailey: Mr Fabulous, about the noted wedding
planner; and two editions of Mo’Nique’s F.A.T. Chance, a beauty pageant for
full-figured women.

Announcing the deal, Sally Miles, the MD of iD Distribution,
noted, “iD Distribution is expanding its operation in America to work with U.S.
producers and broadcasters and this major deal demonstrates our U.S. presence
and relationships in that market.
I am particularly excited after having a relationship with the channel
for many years to be able to champion Oxygen shows in the international market.
Their recent ratings success have been significant and proved the popularity of
their shows.”
