SILVER SPRING: Investigation Discovery’s I Married a Mobster looks at the reality of New York mafia families who have been embroiled in the world of organized crime.

The show sits down with the women and family members who have experienced the highs and lows of a mafia lifestyle, from living the high life to the family’s eventual downfall. The series is narrated and executive produced by Lorraine Bracco, who starred in Goodfellas and The Sopranos. I Married a Mobster debuts July 13.

"I like I I Married a Mobster because it’s so different—it’s the first look at what life inside a mafia family is really like—the passions, the fears and, yes, even the humor!" said Henry Schleiff, the president and general manager of Investigation Discovery. "Who knew that behind every successful Don was a Donna?"
