HIT, Franco Apparel Partner for Barney Clothing Line

NEW YORK, August 24: Celebrating Barney’s 20th
birthday, HIT Entertainment and Franco Apparel have partnered to release a new
clothing line for infants and toddlers featuring the purple dinosaur, scheduled
for launch in spring 2008.

The new line of apparel, designed for children aged 0 to 3,
will include layettes, onesies, sets and more.

"The opportunity to continually expand the Barney brand
into new and exciting licensing categories demonstrates the strength and
longevity of Barney," said Rick
Glankler, the VP of licensing for HIT Entertainment. "After 20 years,
Barney remains a central figure in children’s early years of development and we
intend to meet demand with innovative new partnerships such as Franco
Apparel."
