Si Hay Ideas Aligns with SPTI for New Format

BOGOTÁ, October 9: The Teleset-owned format creation outfit Si Hay Ideas in Colombia has reached a deal for Sony Pictures Entertainment to represent the worldwide rights to its new light-entertainment series Love’s Roulette.

Under the terms of the agreement, 2waytraffic, the format outfit acquired by SPE, will represent Love’s Roulette outside of the U.S., while Sony Pictures Television will pitch it to American outlets.

The studio-based dating show tests one single person’s compatibility with three contestants who are judged on their responses to challenges and scenarios based in various rooms surrounding a roulette wheel.

Juan Pablo Gaviria, the VP of Si Hay Ideas, said: “We are very proud to have created the first ever Colombian light entertainment format to be offered to the worldwide market. Colombian soaps and dramas have had tremendous success worldwide and Si Hay Ideas’ goal is to emulate that success with light entertainment formats. We are confident that SPT and 2waytraffic are the perfect partners to help us begin to realize that ambition with Love’s Roulette.”
