HISTORY Continues Central European Expansion

NEW YORK/LONDON: HISTORY and HISTORY HD are rolling out localized services in Bulgaria on Eurocom, as well as extending their reach in Slovenia with a launch on the IPTV platform Planet 9.

The standard-definition service of HISTORY will launch on the Eurocom Cable platform today, while HISTORY HD will follow in the third quarter of 2009. Localized HISTORY and HISTORY HD services will also launch on the Slovenian IPTV platform Planet 9, and both services are currently available in Slovenia through T2, SBB, UPC and TUS Telekom. In Central Europe, both the HD and SD HISTORY channels are available across Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia and Montenegro.
