High Fidelity HDTV Adds New Partial Owner

TORONTO, July 15: Michael
A. McLaughlin is set to become a part owner of High Fidelity HDTV, an
independent Canadian broadcaster with a suite of four channels.

As the head of sales and
sponsorship, McLaughlin also will serve as the fourth member of the company’s
management committee.

Prior to joining High
Fidelity HDTV, McLaughlin served as the executive VP at Omnicom Media Group,
responsible for sales and marketing in Canada. He also spent 15 years working
at Canwest Global.

Ken Murphy, a managing
partner of High Fidelity HDTV, said: “We are thrilled to have Michael on our
team. He is one of the most colorful and effective personalities in Canadian
marketing, and his energy is infectious. [With] his vast experience of 23 years
and unique expertise in Canadian television, I believe, he will deliver growth
