Heroes Delivers for Seven

SYDNEY, February 2: The launch of NBC Universal
International Television Distribution’s Heroes on Seven Network this week delivered a whopping 57-percent share with
2.1 million viewers, the broadcaster’s highest audience for a drama debut since
Lost premiered two years ago.

Heroes is the number
one regular program for the year to date, Seven said, beating Nine’s 1
vs 100
by more than 150,000 viewers. It won
its time slot across all demos, with a 63 percent share in 16-39, 60 percent in
18 to 49 and 57 percent in 25 to 54.

With Prison
Break
following the
Heroes premiere,
Seven won Wednesday night with a prime-time share of 38.8 percent, versus 22.1
percent for Nine Network and 18.8 percent for TEN. Prison Break, in its second season, delivered
1.22 million viewers and a 47-percent share.
