HBO to Air Late-Night Comedy Series

NEW YORK, March 27: HBO
will launch the offbeat late-night comedy series The Life and Times of Tim and Summer Heights High this June.

The shows will air back-to-back
for eight weeks, with the final two episodes of the ten-episode season of The
Life and Times of Tim
airing on
the Friday after Summer Heights High completes its eight-episode run.

The Life and Times of
Tim
is an animated series about an
average guy whose instincts consistently lead him down the wrong path. The show
is produced for HBO by MRC, while Tom Werner, Jimmy Miller and Mike Clements
serve as executive producers.

Summer Heights High looks at high-school life, focusing on three central
characters—a high-strung drama teacher, a private-school female exchange
student and a break-dancing obsessed delinquent. The series, which is already a
hit in Australia, was shot on location at a real high school and features
real-life students and faculty. Summer Heights High is executive produced by Laura Waters and directed
by Stuart McDonald.
