GSN Names David Goldhill President and CEO

SANTA MONICA, July 26:
David Goldhill has been appointed as president and CEO of GSN, effective August
1, succeeding Rich Cronin, who previously announced his resignation.

In his new post, Goldhill
will be responsible for all aspects of GSN's business, including its expanding
digital-platform efforts.

Goldhill is currently a
senior advisor to Associated Partners, a New York-based investment firm
specializing in media, telecommunications and technology. From 2000 through its
sale to the Interros Group in December of 2006, he served as chairman of the
board of Independent Network Television Holdings, Ltd. (INTH), which built the
TV3 television network in Russia. Goldhill had previously been CEO of INTH,
From 2002-2004, Goldhill was president and COO of Universal Television Group, a
division of Universal Studios. In this capacity, he oversaw all operations at
the company's domestic and international cable television networks (including
USA and SCI FI), cable and network television studios, first-run syndication
business, and worldwide television distribution.

"GSN is a significant
part of Sony Pictures' TV business, and David is the ideal person to lead the
network," said Michael Lynton, the chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures
Entertainment, which co-owns the network with Liberty Media. “I've known David
for many years, and he brings to this position a unique combination of
expertise in entertainment, technology and finance. He will do a great job,
especially in building audiences on television and online."
