Granada International Sells Reality Programming to Fox Life in Italy

LONDON, May 8: Granada
International has licensed a package of reality programming to Fox Life in
Italy, including the first two seasons of Nanny 911, as well as Australian Princess and American Princess.

The broadcast of
the U.S. series Nanny 911
will complement the successful localized version of the show, Tata S.O.S., which is based on the Nanny 911 format and was created for Fox Life in
Italy. In Nanny 911, a team of
professional child-carers go to the rescue of desperate parents and tackle the
issues causing chaos in their homes. In Australian and American Princess, fourteen average girls compete for the chance to be
crowned a princess and dance with a real prince at a lavish ball. The girls are
transformed by a team of royal experts led by Paul Burrell, the former butler
to Princess Diana.

Tim Mutimer, the
director of sales at Granada International, commented: “We believe this aspirational
programming will work extremely well on Fox Life in Italy which is very much
skewed to a young, female audience.
The local version of Nanny 911 has been extremely successful and I am sure the two series from the
U.S. will influence a new generation of Italian mothers.”
