Global Television’s The Last Templar to be Simulcast on NBC

TORONTO, March 4:
Canwest-owned Global Television’s new mini-series, The Last Templar, from Muse Entertainment, has been picked up by
NBC, and will be simulcast on both networks this December.

The romantic adventure
stars Mira Sorvino (Mighty Aphrodite) and Canadian Victor Garber (Alias), and is based on based on Raymond Khoury's
bestselling novel. It is being adapted for the screen by Canadian writer and
producer Suzette Couture (Million Dollar Babies, Road to Avonlea), and is her first production for Canwest.

Americans will also have the chance to see it on NBC," said Barbara
Williams, the executive VP of content for Canwest Broadcasting. "This
partnership with Muse Entertainment underscores Canwest's commitment to work

high-quality and popular original programming for our audiences."
