Game Shows, Dramas Part of Keshet International’s MIPCOM Lineup

TEL AVIV: A game show and a drama series are part of the diverse slate that Keshet International is scheduled to present in Cannes next month.

The new variety game-show fusion Who’s On Top? was co-developed by Keshet Broadcasting and Flare Media International. The show sees three contestants suspended in “air pods” which are scaling in-studio towers five stories high as the participants are faced with trivia questions whose answers decide whether the pods go up or down. The show is co-produced with Flare Productions and July August Productions, and is set to launch in prime time on Israel’s Keshet Broadcasting.

Meanwhile, the 8×45-minute drama False Flag (Kfulim) is also set to launch to the international market in MIPCOM. The espionage thriller focuses on five ordinary citizens implicated in a high-profile kidnapping. Tender Productions produced the title for Keshet Broadcasting. It has already been sold to CANAL+ in France.

Other MIPCOM premieres are Keshet Productions UK’s dating show When Do You Get Off?, which is airing soon on ITVBe; the prank format Knockout, currently airing on Keshet Broadcasting; the comedy-drama Plan B, also being shown on Keshet Broadcasting; the dramedy Milk & Honey, produced by July August Productions for YES DBS Satellite Services; and the docu-drama Sabena Hijacking: My Version, from United King and DNA Productions for Keshet Broadcasting.

Keshet International’s returning formats will also be showcased to buyers, among them Rising Star, Boom!, Master Class, Your Family or Mine, The Baker and the Beauty and Imported.
