G4 Presents Web Soup

LOS ANGELES: The new G4 comedy series Web Soup, from the producers of E!’s hit series The Soup, packages the best viral videos from the web into a half-hour weekly show, hosted by Chris Hardwick.

Debuting June 7 at 9 p.m. on G4, Web Soup is broken up into themed segments, including "The Daily Upload," "This Week in FAIL" and "Things You Can’t Un-See." Viewers will also get to know recurring characters who stop by the series to offer their take on the best—and worst—moments from the week’s topical web videos and viral classics. Hardwick is best known as a stand-up comedian, and also serves as tech correspondent on G4’s Attack of the Show.

"G4 viewers are web-obsessed and this show brings the Internet to television in a way that’s edgy and fun," said Neal Tiles, the president of G4. "Not only can Chris Hardwick dole out hilarious off-the-cuff commentary, he also possesses a deep knowledge of digital culture, which makes him the ideal host for Web Soup. We are excited to put G4’s spin on this popular franchise."
