FremantleMedia Promotes Jamie Lynn to Sales VP

LONDON, June 28: FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has
promoted Jamie Lynn to the VP of sales for the Middle East, Israel, Turkey,
Greece, Cyprus, South Africa and Africa.

Lynn was elevated from his previous position as sales
director, adding the key African emerging markets to the wide range of
territories he manages. In this new role, Lynn will continue to grow existing
relationships with local producers in South Africa and Africa, who have already
successfully rolled out local versions of the Idols format in South Africa on M-Net and Nigeria on
M-Net/NTA, as well as a local version of the drama series Interrogation
Room
in South Africa on SABC1.

Lynn joined FME’s London team in September 2005, initially
to handle television distribution sales, before taking on the additional
responsibility of format licensing in March 2006. Over the past 14 months, Lynn
has secured a range of deals for some of FremantleMedia’s top formats,
including Got Talent, The X
Factor
, Let's Make A Deal, Betty La Fea (Ugly Betty) and Distraction in Greece; Project Runway, Inventor
and The X Factor in Turkey; Thank
God You're Here
and Got Talent in Israel; as well as Got Talent and Celebrity Duets in the Middle East. He has also secured additional
seasons for the Idols, Project
Runway
and The X Factor formats in the Middle East. On the tape sales side,
Lynn has sold more than 2,000 hours of programming to more than 40 broadcasters
since January 2006. These deals span FME’s entire portfolio of programming
across the genres of drama, factual, entertainment and comedy.
