FremantleMedia Makes FMX Appointments

LONDON: FremantleMedia has implemented a new structure at FMX, including promoting Richard Vargas to senior VP of production and development to oversee creative efforts at the new-media division.

In addition, Andrew Piller will now serve as commercial director, adding to his role as VP of brand management for creative networks at FMX. Both he and Vargas report to Claire Tavernier, the senior executive VP of FMX. Damien Marchi has been upped from senior producer to VP of production, reporting to Vargas.

“These appointments come as we enter into an exciting new phase for FMX. We now have a number of great live projects in development and production in collaboration with our partners, and this growth is a testament to the hard work and fresh approach of our team,” commented Tavernier. “This new team structure will allow us to drive our many cross-media developments into the next stages of production, both creatively and commercially, and position ourselves effectively for the future."
