FremantleMedia Announces New Team for German Licensing Division

LONDON, June 15: FremantleMedia Enterprises has announced a
range of promotions within its licensing division in Germany, including one for
Mark Newton in the wake of Birgit Hoensch’s departure to join RTL Enterprises.

Based in Hilversum, Newton will report to Olivier Gers, the
general manager of FremantleMedia Licensing Worldwide. Newton will head the
German licensing division in addition to his current role as the executive VP
of licensing, bringing the division’s entire EMEA operations under one
umbrella. In this position, Newton will oversee the development of product and
promotional associations that enhance and extend consumers’ experience of FME’s
brands off-screen, including brand licensing, music publishing, participation
TV, online and interactive, sponsorship, live events and telephony.

Diana Dieckmann has been promoted to the newly created
position of VP of licensing for Germany, Eastern, Central and Southern Europe.
In this role, Dieckmann will be responsible for overseeing the extension of the
company’s brands off-screen across the region and will manage an expanding team
of licensing executives based at FME’s Potsdam offices.

Fred Casimir has been elevated to the VP of music for EMEA.
In this newly created position, based out of FME’s Potsdam office, Casimir will
oversee all music publishing, licensing and production for Europe. Both
Dieckmann and Casimir will report to Newton.
