Frances Berwick Named President of Bravo Media

NEW YORK: Frances Berwick has been elevated to president of Bravo Media, after serving as the executive VP and general manager since January 2008.

Berwick will continue to report to Lauren Zalaznick, the president of NBC Universal Women & Lifestyle Entertainment Networks. At Bravo, Berwick presided over a 33-percent increase in its original programming. From 2005 to 2008, Berwick was executive VP of programming and production. She joined the group in 1996 from the U.K.’s Channel 4, where she was the head of international TV distribution and licensing.

"Under Frances’ oversight as general manager, Bravo Media has experienced phenomenal growth across all areas of the business while attracting the most affluent and educated audience in cable entertainment," said Zalaznick.  "With this richly deserved promotion, I have no doubt that Frances will continue to lead this team and drive Bravo’s white hot success to even greater heights in the years to come."
