FOX Sets September Premiere for Hole in the Wall

LOS ANGELES, August 8: FOX
will premiere the body-bending game show Hole in the Wall from FremantleMedia North
America on September 11.

The series will air at 8
p.m., with The Moment of Truth, which
was previously scheduled in the Thursday 8 p.m. time slot, now premiering
midseason.

During each episode of the
show, hosted by Brooke Burns (Dog Eat Dog) and Mark Thompson (Guinness World Records: Primetime), two teams of three compete against each other in
multiple rounds by facing various barrier walls moving toward them. Each
barrier has weird cut-out shapes that competitors must contort their bodies
through or be swept away into a pool below. The team with the most points will
win $25,000 and the chance to face the dreaded Blind Wall for the opportunity
to win an additional $100,000. Stuart Krasnow is executive producer.

Hole in the Wall launched in July 2006 on Japan’s Fuji TV, where it
continues to rank number one in its timeslot. FremantleMedia is currently producing versions of the show in Argentina,
Australia, Brazil, China, Colombia, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Israel,
Malaysia, Mexico, Russia, Sweden and the U.K.
