Lifetime Strikes Deal with TF1 International for TV Movies

NEW YORK/PARIS, April 4: In its first major international
co-production agreement, Lifetime Networks is partnering with TF1
International, the distribution arm of France's market-leading broadcaster, to
produce and distribute TV movies on the worldwide market.

The alliance kicks off with three original television
movies, beginning with Miracle Mountain
(working title) starring Jami Gertz and Dylan Walsh as an estranged couple
caught in a holiday snowstorm. The film is scheduled to premiere on Lifetime
Television later this year and will be distributed by TF1 International outside
North America at the end of this year.

"We are very pleased of [this] first step in a long
term partnership with Lifetime, one of the most creative and dynamic cable
television networks," says Annabel Bighetti, TF1 International’s senior
executive VP for sales and acquisitions.

"Through this new partnership, we will begin the
process of owning our own movies, instead of merely licensing them, which is a
critical ingredient for success in this multi-platform era,” noted Susanne
Daniels, the president of entertainment at Lifetime Networks. We're thrilled
that we're partnering with a company which is synonymous with successful and
prestigious programming.”
