Fox Inks VOD Deal in Canada

MONTREAL, March 27: New and library movie releases from Twentieth
Century Fox have been added to Cogeco Cable’s video-on-demand service in
Canada.

The titles available on the service as of yesterday include X-Men:
The Last Stand, Ice Age: The
Meltdown, The Devil Wears Prada and
Little Miss Sunshine. On April 4, Borat will debut on Cogeco Cable’s VOD platform.

“With a top slate of films over the past several years,
we’ve had some great results with our VOD partners in the U.S. and Canada and
we are excited to build on that success with Cogeco,” said Jamie McCabe, the
EVP of worldwide PPV, VOD and EST at Twentieth Century Fox.

Cogeco’s VOD offering also features titles from Warner
Bros., Sony Pictures Television International, Universal Studios Television
Distribution Canada, MGM Home Entertainment, Alliance Atlantis Motion Picture
Distribution, Lionsgate, Corus Entertainment and others.
