Investigation Discovery Set for International Rollout

SILVER SPRING,
December 4: Discovery Networks International will launch Investigation
Discovery (ID), a 24-hour crime and investigation channel, in the U.K. on
January 20.

This will be
the first international launch for the ID brand, which debuted in the U.S. in
January 2008. The network's U.K.
programming lineup kicks off with original content such as the new series Serial Killers. Other key titles include
Deadly Women, Crime Museum U.K. with Martin Kemp and the feature documentary Gold Diggers: World's Biggest Bank Robbery.

consumer interest in crime and investigative programming is robust and

the president and CEO of Discovery Networks International. "Investigation
Discovery will strengthen our best-in-class portfolio of international networks
by engaging new audiences with intriguing, quality content that only Discovery
can provide with credibility and remarkable storytelling."
