FilmRise Lands Corner Gas Series & Film

FilmRise has acquired the AVOD and FAST rights to the Corner Gas sitcom, along with Corner Gas: The Movie, in the U.S., U.K., New Zealand and Australia.

The deal spans all 107 half-hour episodes across six seasons of the comedy and the 90-minute film, which follow an ensemble of average people who get up to a whole lot of nothing in Dog River, Saskatchewan.

FilmRise acquired the Bell Media original from Prairie Pants Distribution (Vérité Films and 335 Productions).
