Fight Sports Fills December Schedule with Boxing Programming

Fight Sports has unveiled its December lineup, which will feature HBO World Championship Boxing titles and GLORY Redemption, among other highlights.

On December 2, six-time world champion Miguel Cotto will end his 16-year career by defending his light-Middleweight title against Sadam Ali at Madison Square Garden, and Fight Sports will broadcast the event live in more than 50 countries. This includes Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Spain, Belgium and Germany, as well as Sub-Saharan Africa. Fight Sports will continue to broadcast the best World Championship fight events live every weekend across its footprint of 35-plus countries.

On December 9, Fight Sports will air two championship events: GLORY Redemption, an international kickboxing event featuring Rico Verhoeven vs. Jamaal Ben Saddik for the Heavyweight Title, and the first-ever clash of two-time Olympic Gold Medalists when Vasyl Lomachenko faces Guillermo Rigondeaux at Madison Square Garden Theatre.

Fight Sports will also showcase Jeff Horn’s first defense of his WBO Welterweight World Title live from Australia on December 13. December 16 will see two Live Championship events, beginning with the live Grand Finale of EFC’s reality series The Fighter. In addition, Billy Joe Saunders will defend his WBO Middleweight title against former world champion David Lemieux on December 16.
