FID Scores New European Deals

LONDON, September 13: Programming featuring Jamie Oliver, as
well as the summer beach series Falcon Beach and the big-budget factual production Prehistoric Park have picked up a range of new deals in Europe,
Fremantle International Distribution announced today.

Jamie Oliver programming has been licensed to Localia,
marking the first time the chef’s programming will be seen on terrestrial
television in Spain. The deal grants Localia the rights to air Jamie’s Great
Italian Escape
and Jamie’s School
Dinners
. In addition, Jamie’s
Kitchen
will soon launch on the Spanish
pay-TV cooking channel, Canal Cocina, joining Oliver’s Twist.

Falcon Beach and Prehistoric
Park
have both been sold to TV4 in Sweden,
Norway’s TV Norge, TV2 Denmark, Channel 4 in Finland, and La Sexta, Spain,
among others. IBC 365 Media Group in Iceland and VT4 Flanders have also picked
up Falcon Beach, while Prehistoric
Park
will screen on VTM, Flanders and on
RTP in Portugal.

In addition, the Spanish terrestrial regional stations Forta
have re-licensed both the live action and the animated series of Mr Bean.
