FIC, Wall Street Journal in Promo, Ad Sales Agreement

LOS ANGELES, August 4: Fox
International Channels (FIC) and The Wall Street Journal Digital Network have
secured a deal to jointly promote and sell The Wall Street Journal Americas,
the company’s Spanish- and Portuguese-language online section that focuses on
Latin America.

FIC’s television and
online properties in Latin America will promote The Wall Street Journal
Americas’ web-based section, with its online sales division, Worthnet.Fox,
becoming the exclusive third-party ad sales representative in the territory.

teams in the region will also work together in offering multiplatform deals to
the print, TV and online advertisers for both companies in Latin America and
the U.S. Hispanic market. On air, FIC’s cable stations in the region, including

in reaching one of the most affluent and influential audiences in Latin
America,” said Bill Casey, the VP of The Wall Street Journal for international.

“We are thrilled to expand
our relationship with Dow Jones,” commented Hernan Lopez, the president of .Fox
