eOne Family Series Sell Worldwide

LONDON: New broadcast deals, renewals and in-flight sales have been secured for Entertainment One (eOne) Family shows such as Peppa Pig, Humf and Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom.

The preschool hit Peppa Pig had its fourth season picked up by WDR in Germany, RTV in Slovenia, TV Catalunya and RTE in Ireland. WDR and RTV also went for season three. The show was also renewed by a host of broadcasters, including a season-one renewal from Nick Jr. in the U.K., YLE in Finland, TV Works in New Zealand and ABC in Australia. TV Works and ABC also renewed season two.

Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom is growing its presence in Central and Eastern Europe, with a deal that sees Dexy handling broadcast and DVD rights for the preschool show across Serbia, Bosnia, Montenegro and Macedonia. The show is also launching on RTE in Ireland and in Welsh on S4C.

Tractor Tom is premiering in Gaelic on TG4 in Ireland, while Humf relaunches on BBC Kids in Canada and also gets a debut on S4C. The half-hour animated special Lost and Found has been scooped up by Al Jazeera in the Middle East, TPBS in Thailand and RTSR in Switzerland.

eOne Family also scored in-flight deals for Ben and Holly’s Little Kingdom and Tractor Tom. Episodes from both series will be featured on flights of Emirates airline and Air Mauritius.
