eOne Aligns with David Linde

TORONTO/LOS ANGELES/LONDON: Entertainment One (eOne) and David Linde have entered into an output deal covering two to four film titles per year across all media in the U.K., Canada and Benelux.

The agreement covers all new pictures to be produced by Linde and his team. Linde’s recently announced film production, financing and distribution platform is rapidly expanding as an active producer of feature films. Linde set up the operation with COO Adam Rymer and Tory Metzger, head of production. Linde’s company recently secured a majority equity investment by India’s Reliance ADA group, as well as a related distribution agreement for India. The company also has a relationship with Universal Pictures, which will have the first opportunity to release films in the U.S. and other international territories. eOne will distribute two to four titles per year through the new deal, with the first film expected to be delivered in late 2012.
