Entara, March Entertainment Team for New Animated Series

LONDON, May 2: The U.K.-based entertainment rights company Entara
has reached a co-production deal with March Entertainment for the new animated
adventure series Dex Hamilton: Alien Entomologist.

Entara is currently seeking worldwide broadcast partners for
the series, which will consist of 26×23-minute episodes. Dex Hamilton: Alien
Entomologist features Dex Hamilton—a naturalist, scientist
and an expert in alien entomology—who strives to further the universal
exploration of a booming population of alien insects and help contain an evil
mastermind.

Daniel Isman, the CEO of Entara commented: “The expansion of
the Entara portfolio with new and cult classics that have a distinctive and
unique appeal continues to be a key focus, and Dex Hamilton: Alien
Entomologist is a great new addition. We
will be identifying opportunities for this property that will launch it into
the U.K. market with the impact that it deserves.”

Entara’s property portfolio includes Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks, which currently airs on CBeebies; Those
Scurvy Rascals, a short-form CGI animation
series; and the music-oriented Popworld Ltd, which airs on both Channel 4 and E4.
