Endemol Fills New Latin American Post

HILVERSUM, July 13: Endemol International is looking to
boost its finished programs distribution business in Latin America with the
appointment of Ariel Tobi as sales manager for the region.

In the newly created post, Tobi, based in Argentina, will
responsible for distribution of Endemol’s portfolio of completed shows across
Latin America. This includes telenovelas such as Endemol Argentina’s Doble
Vida, as well as drama, factual and reality
offerings. Tobi reports to the company’s head of sales for finished programs, Matt
Creasey; and its international director of scripted programming and
distribution, Caroline Torrance.

Tobi’s television career includes serving as director of new
international business at Channel 9 Argentina, followed by developing
entertainment formats at FremantleMedia Argentina. He went on to set up Raza
Producciones, a production company; Net Communication, with a focus on online
content; and the format distribution outfit Snapshot.
