EMEA Restructure for Twentieth Century Fox TV Distribution

A new EMEA organizational structure has been implemented at Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution’s (TCFTVD) offices in London, Paris, Milan and Munich.

In London, David Smyth will continue to manage the office as senior VP and marketing director. He will also continue to develop co-production opportunities with TCFTVD. Vanessa Patenon, who previously held senior roles in international TV distribution at Disney and Warner Bros., has been appointed VP of sales. She will work under Smyth, as does Kate Stevenson, who has been elevated to senior manager. The London office will distribute Fox’s film and television content across a number of territories, including the U.K., Ireland, Nordics, the Middle East, Israel, Africa, Russia/CIS, Netherlands, the Baltics and Iceland.

The Paris office is led by Manuel Alduy as senior VP of sales and development and managing director. It will oversee content distribution for France, Belgium, French-speaking Africa and Switzerland, Spain and Portugal. Martine Bazin, VP of sales, will continue to report to Alduy.

In Milan, Cristina Sala continues to serve as VP of sales for Italy. The office will handle Italy, Italian-speaking Switzerland, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey.

As VP of sales, Simon Bathe has oversight of the company’s most recently opened EMEA office in Munich. He will handle distribution for Germany, Austria, German-speaking Switzerland, Poland, the Balkans and CEE.

In addition, EMEA VPs Maria Ines Rodriguez and George Gioudas will now help shape and supervise the Europe, Middle East and Africa sales strategy, working on all pan-regional deals across the region, with an emphasis on pan-regional clients. Both will also collaborate with the in-territory sales execs on key TCFTVD agreements. Rodriguez is based out of the company’s headquarters in Los Angeles, while Gioudas is in London. Both work under Kristen Finney, the executive VP for EMEA. Finney reports to Gina Brogi, president of global distribution for TCFTVD, which is led by President Mark Kaner.
