Elisabeth Murdoch’s Shine Secures New U.S. Commission

LOS ANGELES/LONDON, August 31: Elisabeth Murdoch’s British
production outfit Shine is working with Twentieth Television on My Games
Fever
, a participation television game show
that will launch on MyNetwork TV at the end of this year.

Slated for a December launch, the show consists of games
that allow viewers at home to participate via text messaging and online interaction.
It will air commercial-free and live on weekdays from 1 to 3 p.m.

“This proven television genre has enjoyed huge success in
the U.K. and the time has come to bring it to the United States,” said Paul
Buccieri, the president of programming at Twentieth Television. “My Games
Fever
's' high-energy, inclusive
entertainment will appeal across all audience demographics and we are excited
to provide this cutting-edge and emerging genre to American viewers."

Dennis Swanson, the president of Fox Television Stations,
