Echo Bridge Scores Licensing Deals

LOS ANGELES, May 9: Echo
Bridge Entertainment has completed its first set of licensing agreements on the
former Alliance Atlantis International Distribution catalogue.

In Europe, France’s Canal
J picked up the teen properties Degrassi: The Next Generation and Instant Star, while MTV Spain and Portugal took on the first
three seasons of Instant Star.
Belgium’s Vitaya acquired 51 episodes of the reality series Debbie Travis’
Facelift
. Meanwhile, in Australia,
ABC took on 20 episodes of the stop-motion animated preschool series Lunar
Jim
.

Echo Bridge also tapped
former Alliance Atlantic executive Christopher Safford for the role of director
of sales for the company’s new London office, handling Central and Eastern European
and the Middle East territories. He previously served seven years at Alliance
Atlantis International, managing the licensing of multiple properties,
including the CSI franchise,
across various global territories.
