E! Expands African Presence

LOS ANGELES, July 18: E! International Network has expanded
its reach on the African continent with new carriage deals in place with
MultiChoice Africa and Multi TV Afrique.

"The response to the E! International Network in Africa
has been extremely positive since we first launched in 2004 on MultiChoice in
South Africa," said Brad Wald, the EMEA managing director for E! Networks.
"E! programming has proven appeal to African audiences with such popular
franchises as our 101 and 50
Most entertainment countdown mini-series, The E! True Hollywood Story and Live from the Red Carpet resonating very well with viewers in the region.
We're delighted to further extend our brand in the African territories to now
include all major cities via DTH and other platforms."

E! launched on MultiChoice's Southern African platform
(covering 10 countries) a year ago. It has now expanded its reach on the
MultiChoice "Rest of Africa" service that includes over 30 countries
in sub-Saharan, Western and Eastern African regions, including Nigeria, Zambia
and Kenya.

This month, E! will also launch on Multi TV Afrique’s
CanalSat Horizons platform in the "Excellence" package. The
French-language version of the channel will now be available to all
French-speaking West and Central African territories, including Ivory Coast,
Cameroon, Senegal, and Gabon.

In addition, the E! International Network will be part of
the debut offerings on Entertainment Highway, a new wireless platform set to
launch in the region in August.
