Dutch Shopping Channel Slated for October Launch

AMSTERDAM, July 27: Liberty Media subsidiary chellomedia has
formed a joint venture with Tel Sell to launch a live home shopping network in
the Netherlands this October.

The as-yet unnamed channel will replace the existing Tel
Sell network, reaching 4 million analog and digital cable households. It will
initially air 5 hours live per day and will eventually grow to 14 hours live
per day. For the rest of the day, the network will broadcast Tel Sell infomercials.

Eventually, all products that appear on TV will also be
available online, and SMS and interactive TV purchasing options will be
developed to complement the initial telephone ordering system.

The network will broadcast live from the TV studio facility
within the Tel Sell’s headquarters in Almere.
