Vivendi Announces Improved Revenues

PARIS, July 27: For the first half of this year, Vivendi’s
revenues rose 5.2 percent to 9.6 billion euros, and for the second quarter they
were up 4.8 percent to 4.8 billion euros.

At Canal+, revenues for the first half were up 10.7 percent
to 1.8 billion euros. Revenues from pay-TV operations in France were up 11
percent. This increase was largely driven by Canal+ and CanalSat portfolio
growth. Subscriptions were up by more than 280,000 to 8.2 million. For the
second quarter, revenues rose by 14.3 percent to 934 million euros.
