DRG Sells Titles to Globosat

MIAMI: Brazilian pay-TV programmer Globosat has acquired more than 120 hours of prime-time drama and documentaries from DRG.

The slate includes seasons one and two of BBC One’s Criminal Justice, the BBC period drama Wallis & Edward, Sky 1’s Skellig and BBC Productions adaption of Frank Cottrell Boyce’s best-selling novel Framed.

On the factual end, there’s ITV’s Kate & Wills: A Royal Love Story, Channel 4’s Jo Frost Extreme Parental Guidance, BBC’s Mad About the House, as well as Nigella Bites (Channel 4) and Nigella Feasts (BBC).

Rounding out the Globosat acquisitions are several Channel 4 doc commissions: Gaza – Children Under Seige, Hamas: The Untold Story and Falling Man.
