DRG Sells Secret Fortune into Germany, Sweden

LONDON: The prime-time entertainment format Secret Fortune is being given local treatments in Germany and Sweden via deals signed by DRG and Eyeworks.

The format debuted on BBC One earlier this year, where the number-one-rating show consistently won the 8 p.m. slot against all channels. A second season has already been commissioned. A U.S. pilot is in the works for CBS, with Nigel Lythgoe co-producing alongside Wild Rover. The format has also been optioned by Starling in France, Shine in Australia, Nordisk Film & TV in Finland, Hedgehod Media in the Middle East and Medyalab in Turkey. Fiver further production option deals have been secured in Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal and Greece.
