Distraction Closes Further Sales for DNA

MONTREAL, June 20:
Distraction has secured new sales for its game-show format DNA in Scandinavia as well as the U.S.

Nordisk has picked up the
format for Denmark, Norway and Sweden, while Zodiak took on DNA for Finland. Distraction also scored a deal in the
U.S. with The Gurin Company. DNA
watches contestants try to match parent/child couples, along with matching a
third family member of the last couple matched in the final round.

Michel Rodrigue, the
president and CEO of Distraction, commented: “Since the beginning of the
series, DNA’s market share has
consistently increased, quadrupling its share percentage after only five
episodes. Thanks to Europroducciones, the original producers in Spain, this
format grows on the audience and I am confident of its continued success.”
